Artistic
From what started as his childhood dream over 20 years ago, Artistic has worked hard to turn it into reality. Starting his career in 1995 by throwing Apollo-style events called “The Breakthrough,” he brought up and coming DJ’s and MC’s to showcase their skills in front of a crowd. These events started a buzz about Artistic’s skills and his reputation for a man who cared enough about the music community around him to help others succeed with him.
From there he grew into a successful local DJ himself, then a producer for Deep Rooted—which has won a San Diego music award for Best Hip Hop album in 2008. He has gone on tour with legends like Public Enemy and has shared the stage with the great Richard Humpty Vision. Artistic has come a long way from playing small venues across the city to performing in front of packed arenas and touring across the country.

DJ Niques
DJ Niques (pronounced "Neeks") pioneered his DJ mission in 1994. A year later, he discovered the ingenuity of making beats and was hooked. Passionate over the love of music, and his endless crossing paths between the maps of DJing and producing set flight to his true command in production. Honorably, Niques equipped beats for the world famous scratching phenomenon and innovator, DJ Qbert, producing beats for his Do It Yourself DVD Volumes 1 & 2, as well as 4 beats on his, "famous for its ultra funky beats" Needle Thrashers Alpha record.
Presently, Niques allies with MC "Blest" on their "Self Sounds" project (TBA). He prospers by his commitment to studio time and explores other realms as an artist such as selling his beats & working with other DJs/artists. As a result of his allegiance to his art, he is found performing at many of San Diego’s leading venues and has traveled nationally – New York City to Nashville to Hollywood/ Los Angeles, just to name a few.
