What are the times for the New Years Beach Party 2013
The New Years Eve Beach Party 2013 is on New Year's Eve (December 31st, 2012). The event will begin a 8pm and continue until 1:30am. The bars will start serving drinks and hors d'oeuvres will be provided starting at 9 pm. There will be two VIP Party Boat Cruise Times: from 8:30pm to 10:30pm, and again from 10:45pm to 1am – the Midnight Cruise!

Will I receive traditional paper tickets in the mail for the new years Beach Party 2013?
No. Beach Party 2013 will not issue “traditional” paper tickets to guests. Guests that have paid for their tickets via the internet will be sent notification via email with a link to a “printable” ticket. Please bring this printable ticket that possesses a unique barcode for our computer scanners. This ticket is required for entrance to the event. Please ensure that you don’t make any copies of the ticket because the barcode will only be accepted once during the event and subsequent copies of any tickets will be flagged by our computers to deny entry. Please bring a state/government issued I.D. (required) to Beach Party 2013 along with the credit card used to purchase the ticket. Please contact customer service department at 619-246-3625 if you are experiencing any technical problems printing your ticket.
What if I have purchased tickets and need to reprint them?
If you need to reprint your tickets, please follow these instructions:

What is the minimum age to attend this event?
All guests must be at least 21 years of age to enter. No one under age 21 will be allowed into event so please do not purchase tickets because no refunds will be issued. All guests must have a government issued identification card to verify their age. False identification will be confiscated by the private security personnel contracted by Catamaran Resort, Hotel & Spa.
What is the Bus Schedule & How Do We Book a Ride?
In order to guarantee your spot on the bus, book it NOW by emailing Jamie@govavi.com with the stop, time and number of people. This is suggested for without doing this, we cannot guarantee your spot on the bus due to bus capacity challenges.

What is the dress code?
Please dress to impress. We request that all guests wear trendy, upscale attire appropriate for an exclusive event held at the beach. It's also recommended to bring a jacket for your travels to and from the New Years Eve Beach Party 2013 location.
Will there be multiple bars throughout Beach Party to ensure minimal waiting for beverages?
Yes, there will be multiple bars stationed throughout the Beach Party 2013 location providing an expedited bar service to all guests.
Will Beach Party be overcrowded?
No, the Catamaran Resort, Hotel & Spa has 5 large rooms, offering more than enough room for eating, drinking and dancing for all guests in attendance. Plus, the party location boasts access to the patio and lawn of the resort, allowing guests to catch some fresh air.
What will be the gender/marital status “mix” of Beach Party?
The desired mix of Beach Party 2013 is an even amount of both singles/couples and men/women. Ages will range from mid 20’s to late 30’s.
I have bought multiple tickets to Beach Party. Do we need to check-in to the event together?
No. Each guest needs to bring their ticket receipt that they received when purchasing tickets from the website, a valid government issued I.D. and the credit card used to purchase the ticket. The tickets will be authenticated using a computerized system. Special circumstances regarding guests need to be coordinated in advance by calling our customer service department at 619-246-3625.
What happens if I cannot attend Beach Party 2013 but I have already purchased tickets?
We are regretful that you will not be able to attend the New Years Eve Beach Party 2013 but Millennium Events LLC and VAVI Sport and Social Club enforce an “All Sales are Final” policy and we will not be able to offer a refund of any amount, regardless of circumstances. If the event sells out and we have enough time (at the discretion of VAVI and Millennium Events) to resell your tickets then we will do our best to assist you. I can’t go to Beach Party and want to sell or give my tickets to someone. Can I just give them my receipt so they can use that to enter the event?
Yes. Please understand that the computerized scanner entry system will only allow the first ticket with a unique bar code to pass the security system. Any copies of tickets will become void and will be denied access by the computer system. This policy is used to reduce the chance of counterfeit ticket receipts being used to gain entry. Transfers of tickets will be completed as often as time permits prior to New Years Eve Beach Party 2013 and will not be done after 5 PM on December 30th, 2012.
Do I need to bring anything with me?
This event is age 21 and up only. A valid picture identification is required for entry. Acceptable forms of ID include: a valid U.S. Driver's License, a valid U.S. State-issued ID card, a Military ID, a valid U.S. Passport, or a valid International Passport. The event will not accept driver's licences issued from foreign countries. This is a California Alcohol Beverage Control board requirement. Sorry, no exceptions.
It's required you bring your id, the credit card used to purchase the ticket and the ticket that was printed upon purchase to enter the Beach Party location. It's recommended that you bring taxi fare and a jacket for your travels to and from the hotel.
Does Beach Party have both inside and outside space accessible during the event?
Yes.
Is there a coat check?
A coat check will be provided free of charge. Due to limited space in the secure coat check area we will be unable to accept bags or other items.
Will there be fireworks at midnight?
San Diego is expected to host several fireworks shows throughout the city. Please note that VAVI Sport and Social Club and Millennium Events does not have responsibility for the fireworks show in any way and the fireworks show is not guaranteed as part of the event ticket cost.
What kind of music will be played during Beach Party?
Music played during the New Years Eve event will span from Hip Hop, Rock, 80’s, Top 40, Remixes, Funky House, Down tempo, & Reggae. We will have multiple rooms that will cater to all music tastes and interests. Whatever you want to hear, we’ll have a room for you!
What are the seating arrangements?
The Beach Party location will have a variety of cocktail seating, belly bars and lounge furniture in a variety of sizes and shapes, in order to create perfect socializing areas. There will be as much seating as possible without hindering the flow of the guests throughout the event. Millennium Events does not guarantee seating for all the guests at one time during the event. Please contact the customer service department at 619-246-3625 for guests with special seating medical requirements.
Are backpacks or large bags allowed into Beach Party?
Security will screen all bags of any size as guests board the Beach. VAVI Sport and Social Club, Millennium Events and our affiliates have a zero tolerance policy for any weapons, drugs or other illegal substances. There will be a coat check, but due to limited capacity, large bags will not be accepted.
